Nuts by Alice Clayton

Roxie Callahan finally has her chance to move away from her small town and make a name for herself as a private chef in L.A. It all went up in flames over butter and she lost all her clients. Her mother calls asking for her to manage the family diner when her mother has a chance to be on The Amazing Race. So reluctantly, Roxie heads home to help her mom.

There she literally falls into Leo, the sexy, hot local farmer.

Their instant attraction leads to wonderful conversations and hot chemistry that comes off the pages. Leo introduces her to his farm and she shows off her cooking.

She also runs into Chad, hot high school football player whom she had a crush on in high school. Chad and his husband, Logan, becomes friends with Roxie.

Roxie just wanted a hot summer fling and got it with Leo. She ends up spicing up the menu at the diner. She has a bunch of cake orders to people in town. She even started a class for learning to pickle, make jam, etc. Her life was pretty nice. She started getting tempted and being persuaded to stay longer than just the summer. That is until she discovers…Leo’s daughter.

Things become complicated but Roxie ends up realizing that she had everything she wanted and loves Leo enough to be all in.

This book was hilarious, sweet, and sexy all in one book! I love reading her awkward encounter with Leo. Their sweet and sexy banter together was great. Makes you want to go out and find a hot farmer boy!
